Our History
In 1992, when India was slowly opening up to the world for new possibilities, we were born.
Nu-Cork Products Private Limited was the name we decided to go with, and of course we had a lot of determination and excitement as well.
We took our first step in the industry by beginning to manufacture ‘Rubberized Cork Sheets/Gaskets/Rolls’ and ‘Moulded Rubber’ products.
But we were a bunch of hungry people who didn’t want to settle so easily. Within a period of 10 years, we had added 5 more products in our portfolio, which included ‘Nitrile Rubber Gasket’, ‘Extruded Rubber Products’ etc.
In 2007, we achieved something noteworthy. We developed an ‘Import Substitute Rubberised Cork Sheet’, which could help Indian industries in getting less dependent on foreign imports for same.
Since then, we have had no reason to look back and we have added a group of badges on our portfolio.
Our products are extensively used in the automotive, power and railway sector. And we boast around 80% market share in the power sector when it comes to products of our niche.
But instead of making us relax, these achievements make us to strive more. Just in 2021, we have come up with another import substitute material, namely ‘Silicon Coated Meta Aramid Fabric & AC Below Ducts’, helping India to become Atmanirbhar.
Today, when we stand at a milestone of having 30+ years of industry experience, exporting to 30+ countries, having presence in 12+ industries; we feel there is still space to do something more.
